Diego Maradona, the legendary footballer from Argentina, dies at 60

The Ganga Times, Gaya: Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona has passed away, today. According to reports, he was suffering from cardiac arrest. He took his last breath at his home in Tigre, Argentina.

Known as one of the greatest to have played the game, the charismatic champion is best known for leading Argentina to the 1986 World Cup title.

Maradona had undergone surgery for a brain clot earlier in the month. The operation went successful at the La Plata clinic, revealed the doctors.

The news of Albiceleste striker’s death was announced by Argentina Football team with a messege- “You will be eternal in every heart of the football world”.
