But on Thursday, Lalit shared a string of pictures of him with Sen and announced that they are dating and not married yet, but they will do that too.
He first tweeted
“Just back in London after a whirling global tour of the Maldives, Sardinia with the families – not to mention my better half @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning, a new life finally. Over the moon,” with a lot of red heart and lovely emojis. This tweet included Sen in the family, which might confuse the fans and give wings to the rumours about their marriage, but a big clarification came later: they are not yet married.

While there was a rumour in 2010 also that they were dating, they never accepted this. Just after the above-mentioned tweet, Modi tweeted again and said that,
“Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too will happen one day,”
So yes, Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi marriage date are not announced yet, but soon they will announce this. Lalit declared that one day he would marry but didn’t share a date. Before such a big announcement, there must have been a serious discussion about when they are marrying but to announce the date is a great responsibility that is not yet done.
