Fateh Sagar Lake is one of the must-visit places to visit in Udaipur because surrounded by hills and woods which amazing views. Fateh Sagar Lake has three small islands. Nehru Island is one of the biggest islands in Fateh Sagar Lake. Nehru Island is one of Udaipur’s most popular tourist attractions, and tourists can reach here only by motor boat.

The second island is a public park with a spectacular water-jet fountain. The third island is home to the Udaipur Solar Observatory. There is no Entry Fee to visit Lake Fatehsagar. If you want to see the island on Fatehsagar Lake, you must hire a motor boat, which will cost you around 200 rupees per person. Boating in Fatehsagar Lake is one of the must things to do in Udaipur.

Jagmandir, also known as Jag Island Palace, is located on an island in Lake Pichola. This fantastic palace looks like a floating marble structure in a lake. The construction of Jag Mandir was started in 1551 by Maharana Amar Singh and was succeeded by his son Maharana Karan Singh from 1620 to 1628. I finally completed Maharana Jagat Singh from 1628 to 1652, named after him Jagat Mandir. Jag mandir palace can only be reached via boat ride from Bansi Ghat jetty because it’s located inside the natural islands in Lake Pichola.

The motor boat is available after every 30 minutes at Bansi Ghat jetty. Jagmandir is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on all days of the week. The boat ride ticket to Jag mandir is Rs. 500 per person from the City palace. After 3:00 pm, the ticket fee for the boat ride is Rs. 1000 per person. Lake Pichola, situated in Udaipur, is an artificial freshwater lake created in 1362, named after the nearby Picholi village. Lake Pichola is one of the oldest and most prominent lakes in Udaipur and is famous for its picturesque beauty and scenic surrounding.

The lakes around Udaipur were primarily created by building dams to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of the city and its neighbourhood. At Sunset, a boat ride on this lake is a must-do activity in Udaipur. The pristine blue waters of the lake leave a soothing impact on the spectator.

It is beautifully landscaped with tall trees, lush green shrubbery and flower beds. Now its open for tourists and anyone can visit here.
