Adani Transmission is India’s largest private sector power transmission company. It is part of the diversified Adani Group, headquartered in Ahmedabad.
The Ganga Times, Ahmedabad: Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL) will be pumping a whopping ₹1,200 crore in MP Power Transmission Package-II Limited, incorporated by REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd. ATL has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on September 14 for the acquiring the Madhya Pradesh project after it came out victorious in the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process
For the next 35 years, ATL — India’s largest private sector power transmission company, will build, own, operate and maintain the transmission project in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The project, which covers 18 districts of the central Indian state, includes approximately 850 ckt km of transmission lines, along with air insulated substations of various voltage levels (220kV and 132kV).
ATL’s Rs 1,200 crore capital expenditure is expected to give a new life to the transmission system in Eastern Madhya Pradesh.
