Due to the high demand for railway tickets between New Delhi and Patna, the Indian Railway has planned to run some puja special Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Delhi during Diwali and Chaat Puja.
Indian Railways is set to run 283 special festival trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja, as confirmed by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. These special services will collectively operate 4,480 trips to cater to the increased passenger demand during the festive period. The Railway Board suggests that train staff should check passengers’ IDs to make sure they are real and authorized.

Bihar Puja Special Vande Bharat train will leave from Patna Junction at 7:25 a.m. and will reach New Delhi the same day at the evening at 7 p.m. The Vande Bharat Express from Anand Vihar will leave at 7:25 am and will reach Patna Junction at 7 p.m. Bihar Puja Special Vande Bharat train will take 12 hours to complete a single journey from Patna to Delhi.

The train number 02252 New Delhi to Patna Junction speical Vande Bharat Express will run on 11,14 and 16 November. The train number 02252 Patna Junction to new Delhi Chaat Puja special Vande Bharat Train will run on 12,15 and 17 November.

Bihar Puja Special Vande Bharat Express ticket price will be 2355 rupees, including the 430 rupees catering charges for a single journey in the AC Chair Car class and 4410 rupees, including the 524 rupees catering charges for the Executive Chair Car (EC).
