Due to high occupancy and demand for railway tickets in Bihar, the Indian railway has decided to start the Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express train between Patna and New Delhi on 11 November 2023.
Something important happened on June 27, 2023, in Bihar because Indian Railway started a new train called Vande Bharat Express between Patna and Ranchi. This train is special and modern, and it’s the first of its kind in these states. It stops at different important train stations like Patna Junction, Gaya Junction, Koderma Junction, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana Junction, Mesra, and Ranchi Junction. This train was made by a place called the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. It’s really fast and can go 380 kilometers in 6 hours, going at an average speed of 63 kilometers per hour.
On September 24, 2023, a new train, the Bihar Second Vande Bharat Train started. This train connects Patna in Bihar with Howrah in West Bengal. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, officially opened the train through a video call from New Delhi. This train runs every day with the numbers 22348/22347. It stops at many important train stations on the way, like Patna Junction, Patna Sahib, Mokama Junction, Lakhisarai Junction, Jasidih Junction, Jamtara, Asansol Junction, Durgapur, and Howrah Junction. It’s a reliable and regular way to travel between these two states.
Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express Route
Bihar Third Vande Bharat express route will cover a distance of 1000 km between Patna and New Delhi. This will be the first Vande Bharat Express for Bihar which will directly connect Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. The Vande Bharat Express between Patna and New Delhi will take 11 hours and 30 minutes, which is 30 minutes faster than Patna New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express.

Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express will stop at Ara Junction, Buxar, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central between Patna and New Delhi.
Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express Timetable
The Bihar Third Vande Bharat train will begin its trip at 7:25 a.m. from Patna Junction, reaching New Delhi at 7 p.m. on the same day. Similarly, the Vande Bharat Express departing from New Delhi Railway Station will also depart at 7:25 a.m. and arrive at Patna Junction at 7 p.m. This synchronized schedule allows travelers to conveniently journey between these two cities in a single day.
Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price
The ticket cost for a single trip on the Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express will be 2,355 rupees in the AC Chair Car class, which includes 430 rupees for catering charges. For the Executive Chair Car (EC) class, the ticket price will be 4,410 rupees, which includes 524 rupees for catering charges. These fares cover the train journey and the food services provided during the trip.

Bihar Third Vande Bharat Express will start on 11 November 2023 from New Delhi and 12 November 2023 from Patna Junction.
