Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Indian cinema, turns 55 on 2 November. Since SRK’s birthday this year will be celebrated in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the superstar has requested fans not to gather outside his home ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai. In recent years, thousands of people gathering in the morning of Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday to wish him has become common ritual. The actor usually comes out and waves at his fans from the roof-platform of his house.
Recently Shah Rukh Khan was engaging in a twitter conversation with his fans. During the session, a fan asked him about his birthday plans while adding that the Police would not allow his supporters to gather outside Mannat, since there are restrictions in the country due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Shah Rukh Khan responded by saying, “Please I recommend nobody should collect in crowds. My birthday or wherever! Iss baar ka pyaar…thodha door se yaar.” The Badshah of Bollywood asked his fans to express their love for him from a safe distance.
Recently, Shah Rukh’s iconic movie DDLJ completed 25 years. The film will be re-released in theatres across the world.
