Islamabad/Karachi, Pakistan: At least five people lost their lives and over a dozen injured due to a massive explosion in a building in Pakistan’s Karachi. The sudden explosion created fear and chaos in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in Karachi. The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined by the bomb disposal squad and anti-terrorism team, said Police chief Mushtaq Mahar. No trace of IED (Improvised Explosive Device) has yet been found, according to a local official. The bomb was powerful enough to shatter nearby houses and their windows.
