The Vande Bharat Express train connecting Coimbatore to Bangalore, set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on December 30, 2023, is scheduled to commence its commercial operations starting January 1, 2024. Commuters and travellers can now make advance bookings for tickets, anticipating the convenience and efficiency this high-speed train service is expected to bring to the Coimbatore-Bangalore route. Karnataka is all set to get its fourth and fifth Vande Bharat Express train today that will connect Bengaluru with Coimbatore and Mangalore with Madgoan. These two Vande Bharat Express will enhance connectivity in the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Goa.
Coimbatore Bangalore Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price
The fare for a one-way journey on the Coimbatore Bangalore Vande Bharat Express in the AC Chair Car class is set at 1025 rupees. This includes a catering charge of 157 rupees. For the Executive Chair Car (EC) class, the ticket price is 1930 rupees, inclusive of a 190 rupees catering charge.
When travelling from Bangalore to Coimbatore on the same express train, passengers will be charged 1400 rupees for the AC Chair Car class, which incorporates a catering charge of 530 rupees. The fare for the Executive Chair Car (EC) class on this route is 2355 rupees, including a 613 rupees catering charge in the Vande Bharat Express.

Coimbatore Bangalore Vande Bharat Express will stop at Tiruppur, Erode Junction, Salem Junction, Dharmapuri and Hosur between Coimbatore Junction and Bengaluru Cantt. Coimbatore Bangalore Vande Bharat Express has five stoppages in Tamil Nadu and two stoppages in Karnataka.

The Coimbatore Bangalore Vande Bharat Express embarks from Coimbatore Junction at 5 am, reaching Bengaluru Cant at 11:30 am. Following a 2-hour and 10-minute stop at Bengaluru Cant, the train resumes its journey, departing at 1:40 pm and arriving at Coimbatore Junction by 8 pm. The travel time from Coimbatore Junction to Bengaluru Cant is 6 hours and 30 minutes, while the return journey takes slightly less time, with a duration of 6 hours and 20 minutes from Bengaluru Cant to Coimbatore Junction.
