Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s cultural fest, Anugoonj 2024, is organised from 8th to 10th February 2024 at Main Campus, Dwarka.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) found respite in the dazzling extravaganza of their annual cultural festival, Anugoonj 2024. The event culminated in a mesmerizing performance by Indian playback singer Jubin Nautiyal, whose chart-topping hits ignited the night with energy and excitement. Before Nautiyal’s electrifying finale, the crowd was already thrilled by the playback singer, songwriter and music performer of Akhil Pasreja and the pulsating beats of DJ Shadow Dubai on the preceding two days.
Eager to overcome any obstacles, throngs of students gathered for the finale concert were determined to catch a glimpse of Jubin Nautiyal. As the singer kicked off the evening with his hit ‘Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain’, a sea of mobile flashlights illuminated the main stage. “I poured my heart and soul into making a placard just to catch the attention of my dream man—Jubin Nautiyal,” reveals Tanvi Arora, a second-year law student at Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology. The fervent crowd’s enthusiasm and dedication to seeing Jubin in person underscored the excitement and anticipation that permeated the event, creating an atmosphere of adoration and admiration for the talented artist.
The starlit evening wasn’t the sole highlight of the festival. On the first two days of Anugoonj 2024, the crowd was enthralled by the lively beats of Akhil and DJ Shadow Dubai, setting the mood for an electrifying atmosphere. Additionally, the street dance competition showcased impressive performances as talented youngsters engaged in thrilling dance-offs, captivating the audience with their skill and passion. Among the array of competitions held during the festival, some that unequivocally drew the largest crowds were street play, battle of the bands, band performance, nach baliye, street dance, standup comedy etc.

Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology Ahaang Society is the winner of the Bands competition during Anugoonj 2024, GGSIPU’s annual fest! “I never thought I would win the title of Battle of Bands, but it feels so wow,” says Sonali Sharma, a student of Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology College.
