Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat To Start Running Soon

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train is one of India’s most awaited Vande Bharat Trains. This train will connect India’s capital, New Delhi and the financial capital Mumbai.

At present, 34 Vande Bharat Train are running across the country, and many more are going to start in the upcoming year. Vande Bharat Express is expected to save three hours of commuters and will be quicker than the existing Delhi Mumbai Tejas Express. Currently, the fastest train between New Delhi and Mumbai is the Tejas Rajdhani Express, which takes 15 hours and 40 minutes. The new Vande Bharat Express will take only 12 hours to complete its journey from Delhi to Mumbai, which will help travellers save around 3 hours and 40 minutes on every trip.

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train Route

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express route will cover a distance of 1380 km between Delhi and Mumbai. At present, around 12 trains run on a daily basis between New Delhi and Mumbai. The fastest train takes 15 hours and 40 minutes, while the slowest train takes around 28 hours. The average travel time from Delhi to Mumbai is around 18 hours.

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Stop List

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express will be the sleeper Vande Bharat Express and it will stop at Kota Junction, Ratlam Junction, Vadodara Junction and Surat between New Delhi and Mumbai Central. As per the existing plan, the express train is scheduled to operate at a top speed of 180 kmph on the Palwal-Agra section, 140 kmph between Agra and Lalitpur, and 130 kmph on the Lalitpur-Bina section.

After starting Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat will leave the New Delhi station at 7 pm and reach Mumbai Central station at 7 am the next day. After halting at Mumbai for 12 hours, the same train will leave for Delhi from Mumbai Central by 7 pm and get to the New Delhi station at 7 am.

Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price

The third AC sleeper class ticket for Vande Bharat will be more expensive than that of the Rajdhani and Tejas Express. According to media reports, a one-way journey on the Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express in the third AC class will cost approximately 3,200 rupees, while the second AC class ticket will be priced at 4100 rupees, and the first-class AC ticket will be 5,300 rupees.

When Will Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train Start?

According to reliable sources, the Delhi Mumbai Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to commence its operations in January 2024.
