1. Train Speed

One of the most popular differences between Vande Bharat and Vande Sadharan Express is train speed. Vande Sadharan trains can run at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, while Vande Bharat Express trains can run at a maximum speed of 180 km/h.

2. Train Manufacturing Cost

The cost of manufacturing a 16-coach Vande Bharat train would be roughly Rs 100 crore to Rs 110 crore, which is around 6 crore per coach, while the cost of manufacturing Vande Sadharan Express is 2.5 to 3 crore per coach. The manufacturing cost of Vande Sadharan Express will be cheaper than Vande Bharat Express.

3. Facilities

There are many differences between Vande Bharat and Vande Sadharan Express in terms of facilities; the Vande Bharat Express is entirely air condition coaches, but Vande Saharan do not have any AC facility. Vande Bharat has a chair car for seating, but Vande Sadharan will have sleeper coaches.

4. Ticket Price

The ticket price of the Vande Bharat train is relatively higher than the Vande Sadharan Express train. For 800 km average cost of Vande Bharat, Ac Chair is around 1800 rupees, but the Vande Sadharan ticket price will cost for 800 km travelling is about 600 rupees only.

5. Distance Covered

There are differences between Vande Bharat and Vande Sadharan Express in the distance covered by a single train. Vande Bharat has the longest route of 772 km, while Vande Sadharan Express will cover a distance of up to 2000 km.

Currently, the Vande Bharat Express connects only cities that are within a day’s travel distance, whereas the Vande Sadharan Express connects cities that are located farther apart from each other.

7. Travel Time

The Vande Bharat Express boasts a higher speed than the Vande Sadharan Express, resulting in shorter travel times for passengers on the former compared to the latter.

8. Number of Stoppages

The Vande Bharat is an elite train, and therefore, it has a limited number of stoppages between its source and destination stations. On the other hand, the Vande Sadharan Express train will have a higher number of stoppages along its route.

9. Number of Seats in Every Coach

The Vande Bharat Express has a higher seating capacity in each coach since it is designed with only seating arrangements. In contrast, the Vande Sadharan Express includes sleeping coaches, which results in a lower number of seats in each coach.

10. Spacious

One of the most important differences between Vande Bharat and Vande Sadharan Express is the seating design. Vande Bharat Express seat can move up to 360 degrees which makes it more comfortable and spacious, while Vande Sadharan train coach will not have these facilities.
