DRISTI Volunteers organized Khushrang — Radiating Happiness in Every Hue on 3rd March 2026 at Senior Citizen Home, DAV Nandraj, Bariatu, Ranchi, as a vibrant celebration dedicated to spreading joy and togetherness. Guided by Co-Founder Shubhanshu Shekhar Shukla, the initiative focused on bringing smiles and meaningful moments to elderly residents who deserve warmth, care, and companionship.
Under DRISTI’s Daksha Pillar, volunteers celebrated the spirit of Holi with great enthusiasm, filling the atmosphere with colors, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. Safe herbal colours were used to ensure a joyful and comfortable experience for everyone. The team distributed traditional festive delicacies such as dahi vada and mathri, adding a homely touch to the celebration. Roses accompanied by handwritten notes were presented as tokens of love and appreciation, making the residents feel valued and cherished.
The volunteers also created beautiful rangoli designs and played antakshari with the residents, sparking nostalgia and shared happiness. Led by Chapter Lead Aditya Sunar, along with Tejal Burman, Tanu Kumari, Naina Barnwal, Abhilasha Sharan, Shivangee Tiwary, Mohit Kumar, and others, the team ensured smooth coordination throughout the event.
This celebration strengthened intergenerational bonds and reinforced the belief that small acts of kindness can create lasting happiness in society.
