FIMT College is organizing Intra College Sports Competition in lieu of the National Sports Day 2023 under the aegis of India’s Presidency of G-20 for Sport’s Integrity. The competitions are scheduled to take place on the 26th of August, 2023 and the 29th of August, 2023.
FIMT College firmly believes in the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The decision to organize sports competitions stems from our commitment to fostering a culture of health, wellness, and friendly competition among our students.

Event 1: Trials
Date: 26th August, Saturday
Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm
Venue: FIMT Sports Ground
Event 2: Finals
Date: 29th August, Tuesday
Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm
Venue: FIMT Sports Ground
Interested Students are requested to do registration online mode (google form attached). All interested participants are requested to kindly go through the rules and regulations for participation and duly register for the competitions. The interested participants must also fill up the parental consent form. Rules for each competition are attached below.
Rules and Regulations for Intra College Sports Competition 2023 By FIMT College
- All the organizing & participating teams shall go through the following discipline-specific rules very carefully before filling-up the online entry performa & also before participating in any of the tournaments at any level.
- Only online entries will be accepted.
- Henceforth, at all levels of competitions, the teams losing at the semi-final/ trials stage shall be awarded Merit Certificate and thus there will be no hard-line match.
- Participants should wear appropriate uniforms and equipment as specified by the rules and regulations.
- Participants should be aware of and adhere to any code of conduct or ethical guidelines set by the organizing body.
- Any student found using in-appropriate language or ignoring the instructions of faculties shall lead to his/her disqualification and disciplinary action.
- Engaging in any form of physical or verbal abuse, harassment, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
- The use of prohibited substances, if applicable, is also strictly forbidden.
- Spectators should also adhere to codes of conduct, show respect for players and officials, and contribute to a positive and safe atmosphere.
- Respect for opponents, officials, and teammates is expected at all times.
- Displaying good sportsmanship, even in the face of defeat, is a fundamental aspect of any sports competition.
- “Assumption of Risk” clause is to inform participants about the potential risks associated with sports activities and to outline that the institution will not be held legally responsible for injuries that may occur during the trials and final events of the Sports Competition.
