Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced an extended special round of offline counselling for various undergraduate programs.
The round is open exclusively to candidates who have qualified for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024. The programs included in this round are BCA, BBA, the 5-year Integrated BBA-MBA, B.Com (Hons.), BA (Journalism & Mass Communication), B.Ed., and BA/BBA LLB.
This special round is being organized due to requests from students seeking admission into these programs. Eligible candidates are required to register offline, verify their documents, and participate in seat allotment based on their CUET scores.
Key Highlights For Special Round of Offline Counselling:
- Eligibility: Candidates with a valid CUET 2024 score who have not been admitted at the end of Spot Round 2, or those who have not secured a seat through management quotas, are eligible for participation. Those already admitted or allocated seats in previous offline counselling rounds are not eligible.
- Registration Process: Candidates must report in person for registration and document verification at the university campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. This is mandatory for preparing a merit-based rank list.
- Important Dates:
- BA (Journalism & Mass Communication): Registration on September 16, 2024
- BCA and B.Ed.: Registration on September 17, 2024
- BBA Integrated and BA/BBA LLB: Registration on September 18, 2024
- B.Com (Hons): Registration on September 18, 2024
- Counselling Fees: Candidates must bring a demand draft of ₹2,500 as a participation fee, payable to the “Registrar, GGSIPU”.
- Seat Allotment: The allotment of seats will occur based on CUET scores, and candidates must bring a demand draft of ₹96,000 towards part academic fees upon allotment.
Important Instructions For Special Round of Offline Counselling:
- Allotment of colleges cannot be changed once seats are assigned.
- It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for their respective programs.
- Candidates should carry original certificates, mark sheets, and proof of CUET scores during registration.
