The inaugural Hyderabad first Vande Bharat Express embarked on its journey on January 15, 2023, initiating service between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam. This momentous launch not only marked a notable achievement in itself but also held the distinction of being the first-ever Vande Bharat Express to serve the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Hyderbad First Vande Bharat Train adheres to its schedule with planned halts at key stations, including Samalkot Junction, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada Junction, Khammam, and Warangal.
On April 8, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the second Vande Bharat Express train in Hyderabad. This train commenced its service between Secunderabad in Hyderabad and Tirupati. The train covers a distance of 662 km in a travel time of 8 hours and 15 minutes, maintaining an average speed of 80 km/h. During its journey between Hyderabad and Tirupati, the Vande Bharat Express makes scheduled stops at Nalgonda, Guntur Junction, Ongole, and Nellore, facilitating efficient and convenient travel for passengers.
