According to the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Vande metro is remarkable trains under development that promise to be an extraordinary innovation. They are in the final stages of design, and we can expect their debut very soon. These trains are anticipated to revolutionize the transportation industry and bring about significant advancements in the way we travel.

At present, the Vande Bharat trains are operational, serving routes between cities spaced approximately 500-800 km apart. Meanwhile, the upcoming Metro trains will cater to cities located at a distance of around 100 km from each other.

Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro Route

The Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro route will cover a distance of 139 km between Kolkata and Haldia. Kolkata to Haldia is one of the busiest railway lines in West Bengal, where thousands of passenger travel daily. Currently, there are 3 local train run between Kolkata and Haldia which takes 3 to 4 hours to complete a single journey.

Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro Timetable

During the first stage, one Vande Metro will run between Kolkata and Haldia, which will complete 3 rounds of trip every day. Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro will leave Haldiya at 6 am and will reach Kolkata at 8:30 am. The same train will leave Kolkata at 8:45 am and will reach Haldia at 11:15 am. The Vande Metro will take only 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete its journey from Kolkata to Haldia.

Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro will stop at Santragachi Junction, Andul, Uluberia, Bagnan, Bagnan, Mecheda, Bhogpur, Raghunathbari, Rajgoda, Saheed Matangini, Tamluk, Keshabpur, Satish Samanta, Mahishadal, Badra, Basulya Sutahata and Durgachak.

Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro Ticket Price

There is no official announcement about the Vande Bharat ticket price. According to the sources Kolkata Haldia Vande Metro Ticket Price will be higher than the local EMU train. The Vande Metro from Kolkata to Haldia will cost around 200 rupees for a single journey. The train will feature fully air-conditioned coaches equipped with automatic door opening and closing systems.
