Eligibility Criteria For BTech Colleges Under GGSIPU 2025-26
Candidates must have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 pattern of CBSE or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with each subject passed individually. In addition, the candidate must have passed English (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
For major disciplines such as:
a) Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology
b) Electronics & Communication Engineering
c) Electrical Engineering
The candidate should have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 scheme of CBSE or an equivalent board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one additional subject from the list of approved subjects (as per university guidelines). A minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required in these three subjects, and the candidate must have passed each subject separately. English (core/elective/functional) must also have been passed in the qualifying examination.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the programme(s) they wish to apply for.
Admission Process:
All candidates seeking admission must appear for JEE Main Paper 1, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The university does not conduct its own entrance test (CET) for B.Tech admissions. Admissions will be made strictly on the basis of the merit/rank obtained in JEE Main Paper 1.
Note: Candidates who are blind (including color blindness), deaf, and/or mute are not eligible for admission to these courses.
