Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Route, Timetable and Ticket Price

According to the sources, Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Train with a sleeping birth facility.

According to the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) new Vande Bharat sleeper train for long distances will have 15 coaches, including 10 Third AC, 4 Second AC and One first-class coach. The AC third tier will have 61 berths, AC second tier will have 48 berths, and AC first class will have 24 berths. These trains will design so that they can accommodate around 850 passengers.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) manufactures rail coaches in Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1955 and is owned and operated by the Indian Railways. The sleep Vande Bharat Train coaches will be designed so that passengers escorting the disabled person get accommodation together.

The first Vande Bharat Express, which the Prime Minister of India flagged off on 15 February 2019, runs between New Delhi Railway Station and Varanasi Junction Railway Station and is manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai. Until now, IFC has manufactured 17 Vande Bharat train sets which operate between different cities in India.

There is a need for trains like Vande Bharat in Patna – New Delhi to fulfil people’s needs. Tejas Rajdhani Express and Sampoorna Kranti Express is the only fasted train between Patna and New Delhi. The number of passengers travelling on the Patna New Delhi route has increased recently.

Many trains are also available on the Patna – Delhi route, but their travelling time is relatively high. Apart from Tejas Rajdhani and Sampoorna Kranti Express, other trains take around 16 to 18 hours to reach New Delhi from Patna. Patna Delhi Vande Bharat route will cross some major stations like PT. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central.

Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Express timetable will be announced by Indian Railway after the train trial run. The Vande Bharat Express train’s sleeper version will be designed so that it will travel at a speed of 220 km per hour. The sleeper version of Vande Bharat Express will be made of aluminium so that the train weight will be less and it can reach maximum speed in less time. Patna Delhi Vande Bharat will take around 8 hours to complete the journey from Patna to New Delhi.

Vande Bharat’s third AC sleeper class ticket will be costlier than Rajdhani Express. As per media reports, Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Express train will cost around 3100 rupees for a single journey in the third AC class and 3900 rupees for the second AC class and 5200 rupees for the first class AC. The final ticket price may vary because the Vande Bharat train has a dynamic fare system. Dynamic fare system works on demand; if demand is high, then ticket price goes high.

When Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Will Start?

Patna – Delhi travellers have been waiting for Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Express for a long time because it will help to save their travelling time. Now People from Bihar must wait a few more months for Patna Delhi Vande Bharat train. According to the sources, Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Will Start in January 2024. Vande Bharat is currently running from New Delhi to Varanasi on the Delhi Howrah rail route, so the railway has to check the path between Varanasi and Patna only. Once the research work between Varanasi and Patna is completed, Patna Delhi Vande Bharat Express will start running.
