To cater to devotees during the Irumudi/Thaipoosam Festival, Indian Railways has introduced temporary halts at Melmaruvathur station for several trains. The stoppages will be in place from January to February 2025.
To facilitate passenger convenience during the Irumudi/Thaipoosam festival, Northern Railway has introduced a two-minute temporary stoppage for select trains at Melmaruvathur Railway Station. This special arrangement is aimed at accommodating pilgrims and enhancing travel convenience.
