The first Delhi Varanasi Vande Bharat Express has two stoppages at Kanpur and Prayagraj, so if any person books a ticket from Delhi to Kanpur, another person books a seat from Kanpur to Prayagraj and another person books a seat from Prayagraj to Varanasi then train occupancy will be counted as 300% because the same seat has been booked for three times.
Why There is a Need for a Second Vande Bharat Between Delhi and Varanasi?
Indian Railway plans to launch the second Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Varanasi because the occupancy rate in the first Delhi Varanasi Vande Bharat Express is very high. Indian railway has already launched two Vande Bharat Express trains on the Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram route. The second Vande Bharat Express between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram was launched because the occupancy rate in the first Vande Bharat Express was very high.
