Will the Introduction of 20 Coach Vande Bharat Affect Speed Performance?
Due to high ticket demands on many routes, the Indian railway will soon launch 20 Coach Vande Bharat Express trains.
Currently, Vande Bharat Express trains in India operate with 8 or 16 coaches, depending on passenger demand. While 8-coach trains cater to routes with lower demand, 16-coach trains serve high-demand routes. For the first time, Indian Railways is set to introduce a 20-coach Vande Bharat Express, marking a significant expansion in the train's capacity.
This upgraded 20-coach train has successfully completed its trial runs and is expected to operate on the Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram route. The longer train aims to address growing passenger needs while maintaining the hallmark speed and efficiency of the Vande Bharat series.
