77th Republic Day: President Approves Gallantry Awards 2026 for 70 Forces Personnel
On the eve of the 77th Republic Day, President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu approved Gallantry Awards 2026 for 70 Armed Forces personnel, including six posthumous awards, in recognition of exceptional bravery and supreme sacrifice.

In addition, the President also cleared 301 military decorations for personnel from the Army, Navy, Air Force and other services for distinguished and meritorious service.
