The first Vande Bharat Express of Deoghar started its Inaugural run on 24 September 2023 and its commercial run on 26 September 2023 between Patna and Howrah. The first Vande Bharat of Deoghar connected Bihar's capital, Patna, and West Bengal's capital, Kolkata. This was the first Vande Bharat Express to connect Bihar, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. Deoghar's first Vande Bharat Express train is India's 30th Vande Bharat Express. This train stops at Patna Junction, Patna Sahib, Mokama Junction, Lakhisarai Junction, Jasidih Junction, Jamtara, Asansol Junction, Durgapur and Howrah Junction.
