Prime Minister Narendra Modi has Inaugurated the New Hyderabad Raichur DEMU Train which will connect Kacheguda station in Hyderabad and Raichur. The new Hyderabad Raichur DEMU Train is the second DEMU train between Hyderabad and Raichur. Currently, there is only one DEMU train is running between Hyderabad and Raichur, which leaves Kacheguda at 6:25 am and reaches Raichur Junction at 12:10 pm. This DEMU Train takes 5 hours and 45 minutes to run a distance of 238 km between Hyderabad and Raichur. The same after halting around 5 hours at Raichur Junction leave Raichur Junction at 5 pm and reach Kacheguda at 10:30 pm.
