Patna Gaya Railway Line is one of Bihar's most important railway lines because it connects the Howrah New Delhi railway line and plays a very important role in train connectivity.
The Neora–Daniyawan–Bihar Sharif–Sheikhpura line is a proposed railway line connecting Neora on the Howrah–Delhi main line and Sheikhpura on the Gaya–Kiul line. The line will cross the Jatdumri Halt on the Patna Gaya railway line. Jatdumri Halt will receive trains from four directions, so It will now become Jatdumri Junction. Jatdumri Junction is now the first junction between Patna and Gaya. Patna Gaya Railway Line was built in 1900 by British India. The Patna to Gaya railway line was fully electrified in 2003.
