In a significant achievement for Indian Railways, the final track work on the prestigious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project has been completed.

The ballast-less track for the 3.2 km-long Tunnel T-33, situated at the foothills of the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine and connecting Katra to Reasi, was successfully laid in the early hours of the day at 2:00 AM.
