Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat Express train will start its maiden journey from Tirunelveli towards Chennai Egmore at 12.30 p.m. on Sunday.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Tiruchendur Express, the slowest option on this route, takes a total of 12 hours and 50 minutes to complete its journey. However, passengers can look forward to the speedy Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat Express, which will cover the distance in a mere 7 hours and 50 minutes, offering a significantly faster travel time between the two cities.

Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat Express train ave eight coaches. Based on the demand in the future, the railway may increase the number of coaches on the train. Railways sometimes increase and decrease the number of coaches in Vande Bharat Express based on demand.

Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat Express will run on all days except Tuesday. It will leave Tirunelveli at 6 a.m. and reach Chennai Egmore at 1.50 p.m. It will stop at Virudhunagar (7.13 a.m.), Madurai (7.50 a.m.), Dindigul (8.40 a.m.), Tiruchi (9.50 a.m.) and Villupuram (11.54 a.m.) and Tambaram (1.13 p.m.). In the return direction, the train will leave Chennai Egmore at 2.50 p.m. and reach Tirunelveli at 10.40 p.m. It will stop at Tambaram (3.18 p.m.), Villupuram (4.39 p.m.), Tiruchi (6.40 p.m.), Dindigul (7.56 p.m.), Madurai (8.40 p.m.) and Virudhunagar (9.13 p.m.).

Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat train will stop at Virudunagar Junction, Madurai Junction, Dindigul Junction, Tiruchchirapali, and Villupuram Junction between Tirunelveli and Chennai Egmore. The train will cover a distance of 652 km in 7 hours and 50 minutes with an average speed of 83 km per hour. Tirunelveli Chennai Vande Bharat Express will be the second Vande Bharat for Tamil Nadu after Chennai Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express, which will have all stoppages in Tamil Nadu.
