Divyendu Sharma, popularly known as Munna Bhaiya, participated in Mirazapur sessions 1 and 2 but is no longer participating in session 3. Even though fans were hoping for Munna Bhaiyya’s return in the third season of Mirzapur, actor Divyendu Sharma confirmed in an interview with Humans of Bombay that he won’t be reprising the role.

Divyendu expressed that portraying the character had a profound impact on him, and it became difficult to separate from it. He emphasized the importance of not delving too deeply into a character’s psyche. Divyendu revealed that being in that headspace felt suffocating and dark at times. His character Munna Bhaiyya was known for being a power-hungry mafia heir willing to do anything to assert dominance.

Divyendu Sharma shared that he found it challenging to handle the dark aspects of his character’s journey in the web series. As a result, he has chosen not to continue with the show. Despite gaining immense fame for his role as Munna Bhaiyya, Divyendu has confirmed that he won’t be appearing in the third season. This news has left his fans somewhat disappointed. Every fan is sad that Divyendu Sharma is not part of Mirzapur 3.

Divyenndu was born on June 19, 1983, in Delhi, India. He graduated in political science from Kirori Mal College at Delhi University. After three years of theater experience in Delhi, he pursued a two-year diploma in acting from FTII, Pune. His debut Bollywood movie was “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” where he portrayed a character named Liquid. He won the Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Male for his role in the film. He also played the poet Omi in David Dhawan’s remake of “Chashme Baddoor.” So far, he has appeared in over 20 movies and web series.
