Reason Behind the Changes

The yard remodeling work at Ayodhya Cantt station is part of a large-scale infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving railway operations, enhancing passenger convenience, and accommodating increased train traffic in the future. Yard remodeling requires the installation of pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking systems, which necessitate the temporary suspension of train services for safety reasons.

Impact of Fog on Operations

In addition to the yard remodeling work, operational challenges due to heavy winter fog have also prompted the cancellation of some trains. To ensure passenger safety and efficient rail traffic management, the railway administration has taken proactive measures to adjust schedules and routes accordingly.

Passengers Advised to Check Updates

Passengers are advised to stay updated on train schedules and cancellations through official railway portals, IRCTC websites, and inquiry helplines. The changes are temporary, and train operations will resume as soon as the yard remodeling work is completed.

For any queries or further updates, passengers can contact railway helplines or visit nearby railway stations for assistance. This proactive approach by the railway administration ensures infrastructure development while minimizing disruption for travelers.
