The Indian railway is soon to launch the Agra third Vande Bharat Express, which will connect New Delhi and Lucknow, to provide a comfortable and fast travel experience.
Agra is well connected by railway line because it’s located on Delhi Mumbai railway line, one of India’s oldest railway lines. Agra Cantt is the main railway station in the Indian city of Agra. It lies on the main Delhi–Chennai line. More than 1.5 crores of passengers travel to Agra annually by Indian railway. Agra first Vande Bharat train was started on 2 April 2023 between Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj) and Hazrat Nizamuddin. This was the India 11th Vande Bharat Express. The first Vande Bharat Express from Agra to New Delhi takes 2 hours which is 10 min slower than Gatiman Express. While travelling to Bhopal, it takes 5 hours and 56 min, which is 8 min slower than Rajdhani Express.
Agra’s second Vande Bharat Express, which connects Hazrat Nizamuddin and Khajuraho, started on 15 March 2024. It has reduced the travel time between Agra and Khajuraho by 2 hours. Before starting the Agra Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express, the Udaipur Khajuraho Express was the fastest train, taking 8 hours and 25 minutes. Now, the Vande Bharat train only takes 6 hours and 35 minutes to travel from Agra to Khajuraho.

The Agra Third Vande Bharat Express Train Route will cover a distance of 528 km between Delhi and Lucknow. The third Vande Bharat Express of Agra will be the first to connect Agra with the state capital, Lucknow.
