Indore first Vande Bharat Express Train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 27 June 2023 between Indore and Bhopal. This train has started commercial run from 28 June 2023. Indore first Vande Bharat Express was the third Vande Bharat Express for Madhya Pradesh. Indore’s first Vande Bharat Train covers a distance of 248 km between Indore and Bhopal which makes it the shortest distance Vande Bharat Express in India.
The Indore Bhopal Vande Bharat Express runs for 6 days every week, traversing a distance of 248 kilometres in a travel duration of 3 hours, maintaining an average velocity of 84 kilometres per hour. This Vande Bharat has 7 AC Chair Car and 1 Executive Chair Car coach. Indore’s first Vande Bharat Express Train is the first Vande Bharat Train in India which has only one stop between sources and destination stations. This train only stops at Ujjain Junction between Indore Junction and Bhopal Junction.
Indore Second Vande Bharat Express Train Route
The route of the Indore Second Vande Bharat Express Train will span 567 kilometres, linking the cities of Indore and Surat. This railway connection between the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore, and the esteemed diamond city of India, Surat, is being established. Presently, the Avantika Express holds the position of the swiftest train along this route, consuming approximately 9 hours to traverse the 567-kilometer distance between Indore and Surat.
Indore Second Vande Bharat Express Train Stop
As per available information, the Indore Second Vande Bharat Express Train is slated to make halts at Bharuch Junction, Vadodara Junction, Godhra Junction, Ratlam Junction, Nagda Junction, and Ujjain Junction during its journey between Indore and Surat. Commencing its journey from Udhna Junction in Surat, this train holds its origin at the city’s second most renowned railway station.
When Will Indore Second Vande Bharat Express Train Start?
Following the completion of the train’s trial run, the official launch date will be revealed. As per media accounts, the Indore Second Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to commence its operations on the 15th of October, 2023.
