Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express for Goa and the fourth Vande Bharat Express for Mumbai.

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat can run at the top 180 km/h speed between Mumbai and Goa. The trail run for Goa Mumbai Vande Bharat Express has been conducted using the Mumbai Shirdi Vande Bharat Express rake. Mumbai Shiridi Vande Bharat does not run every Tuesday, so the railway has used the same train to complete the trial run between Mumbai and Goa.

Three Vande Bharat Express trains are running from Mumbai, Mumbai Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express, Mumbai Solapur Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai Shirdi Vande Bharat Express. Currently, the fastest train between Mumbai and Goa is Tejas Express which takes 8 hours and 50 minutes. The Mumbai Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will be 1 hour and 50 minutes faster than the Tejas Express.

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express Route

One of the best things about the Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat route is that it gives fantastic views of hills and waterfalls while travelling from Mumbai to Madgaon. Mumbai Madgaon Vande Bharat route will connect some major stations like Thane, Chiplun, Ratnagiri and Kundal between Mumbai and Madgaon. This Vande Bharat Express route will cover the entire distance of 580 km.

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express Stop

According to the sources, Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express will stop at Kudal, Ratnagiri, Chiplun and Thane stations between Madgoan and Mumbai during the one-side run of 580 km. The final stoppage list still has not been announced by Indian Railway.

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express Timetable

Mumbai – Goa Vande Bharat Express will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai at 5:30 am and will reach Madgaon station in Goa at 12.30 pm. The same train will leave from Madaon at around 1.30 pm and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 8:30 pm.

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price

The Mumbai – Madgaon Vande Bharat Express ticket price is expected to be around 1580 rupees for a single journey in the AC Chair Car class and 2870 rupees for Executive Chair Car (EC). 

When Will Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat Start?

According to the media reports, Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat will start on 15 June 2023. Senior railway authorities are exploring the possibility of starting the train as soon as possible because the Mumbai to Goa train route witnesses heavy rush throughout the year.
