Reportedly, the Central Railway (CR) has plans to elevate the speed of the Mumbai Shirdi Vande Bharat train on the Igatpuri-Manmad line to 130 km/h. According to the information provided, the section between Igatpuri and Shirdi, spanning 125 km, currently permits speeds of up to 110 km/h. With the proposed increase in the train’s speed limit to 130 km/h from the existing 110 km/h, the Vande Bharat Express will potentially reduce travel time by 30 minutes for each journey between Mumbai and Shirdi, as well as Shirdi to Mumbai.
Apart from Vande Bharat Express Train other train will be also save the travelling time between Lgatpuri and Manmad. Pursuant to directives from the Railway Board, the Central Railways has initiated efforts to enhance the track infrastructure, aiming to facilitate the augmentation of the train’s operational speed.

The current timetable is Train no. 22223 departs CSMT at 6.20 am and arrives at Shirdi at 11:40 am on the same day while Train no. 22224 leaves from Shirdi at 5.25 pm and reaches CSMT at 10.50 pm.
