The Puri Howrah Vande Bharat will run between the temple town of Puri in Odisha with Kolkata, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off by this month.
The train is undergoing rigorous testing, and it is anticipated to start running between Puri and Howrah soon. The best thing about this particular train is that it will cut down the travel time to a great extent and is extremely efficient as well. The Puri Howrah Vande Bharat Express has started the trial run and is still awaiting confirmation, and it is rumoured that the train will start running at the end of May.
The train will start from Howrah in West Bengal until Puri in Odisha. The Puri Howrah Shatabdi Express is the fastest-running train on this particular route. The Puri Howrah Vande Bharat will cut down the travelling time by 3 hours. This will be the second Vande Bharat train for West Bengal and the first for Odisha. The first for West Bengal linking Howrah with New Jalpaiguri was launched last December.

For the Puri Howrah Vande Bharat Express AC chair car at the moment, you will have to pay a price of Rs. 1395 for one person for one route.
On the other hand, if you choose to book a ticket in the executive chair car in Puri – Howrah Vande Bharat Train, then it will cost you Rs. 2515. The executive chair car option has a premium choice of seating, like rotatable chairs, and a more premium leg space. The entire train is an air condition chair car. However, it is indeed quite luxurious.
If we go by the latest reports, it is anticipated that the Puri Howrah Vande Bharat Express will start on the 25th of May and will be a daily train.
