There was a gap of three months between the launch of Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat and the Second Vande Bharat train. Now soon, Rajasthan third Vande Bharat Train is going to start between Udaipur and Jaipur.
Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat express train was started on 12 April 2023 between Ajmer Junction and Delhi Cantonment. This was the India 14th Vande Bharat train. This train also connects the Indian states of Haryana and Delhi. Rajasthan first Vande Bharat train covers a distance of 429 km in 05 hrs 15 mins with an average speed of 82 km/h. This train stops at 6 stations, out of which three stations, Alwar Junction, Jaipur Junction and Ajmer Junction, are in Rajasthan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Rajasthan’s second Vande Bharat express train via video conference from Gorakhpur Junction on 7 July 2023. Rajasthan second Vande Bharat train connects two Indian states, Rajasthan and Gujarat. This Vande Bharat covers a distance of 449 km in 06 hrs 10 mins with an average speed of 73 km/h. The 12461/12462 Jodhpur – Sabarmati (Ahmedabad) Vande Bharat Express will operate 6 days a week. This Vande Bharat Express have 7 AC Chair Car and 1 Executive Chair Car coach.
Rajasthan Third Vande Bharat Express Train Route
The Rajasthan third Vande Bharat Express will encompass a route spanning a distance of 430 km. Presently, there exist 4-5 daily train services operating between Udaipur and Jaipur. These conventional trains typically require an average travel time of approximately 8 hours to traverse the distance between Udaipur and Jaipur. The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express on this route is expected to significantly enhance travel efficiency and reduce the overall travel duration for passengers between these two cities in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Third Vande Bharat Express Train Stop
As per sources, the Rajasthan third Vande Bharat Express is anticipated to make stoppages at Mavli Junction, Bhilwara, Ajmer Junction, and Phulera Junction along its route between Udaipur and Jaipur. The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express is set to fill this gap and provide a faster and more efficient travel option for passengers travelling between these cities in Rajasthan.
When Will Rajasthan Third Vande Bharat Express Train Start?
Sources have indicated that the trial run for the Rajasthan third Vande Bharat Express train is scheduled to commence in the second week of October 2023. Furthermore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to formally inaugurate and flag off the Udaipur to Jaipur Vande Bharat Express during the last week of October 2023.
