Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Train will be the first Rapidx train in India. This is the first phase of the Delhi Meerut Rapidx train service which is also known as the Regional Rapid Transit System.
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is building India’s first Rapidx rail system between Delhi and Meerut. According to senior government officials, Work at all these stations has been completed, and they are ready for operations. The construction work on the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System began in June 2019. The NCRTC, which is building the RRTS corridor, aims to commission the 82 km-long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch for the public by 2025.
Rapidx Train Funding
The semi-high-speed regional rail service across the National Capital Region (NCR) is being developed by the NCRTC, which is a joint venture company of the Centre with the state governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Train Route will cover a distance of 17.5 km between Sahibabad to Duhai. All stations are well connected with other public transport system. Sahibabad to Duhai Rapidx Train Route is the first phase of an 82-km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch.
Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Train Stoppages
Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) train will stop at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot. There are total 5 stoppages in first phase of an 82-km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch of Rapidx train route. This 17.5 km section will connect Sahibabad – Duhai via 4 elevated stations and will cover distance in just 17 minutes.
Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Train Timing
The Sahibabad Duhai RapidX(RRTS) will operate in the priority section from 6 am to 11 pm and it will have a stoppage after every 15 minutes for 30 seconds. The first train will leave from Sahibabad at 6 am will reach to Duhai station at 6:17 am. The first train will leave from Duhai at 6 am will reach at Sahibabad at 6:17 am. It will take 17 minutes to complete a journey from Sahibabad to Duhai. Other mode of public transportation take more than 1 hour to complete the journey of same distance.
Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Ticket Price
Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) train ticket price will cost around 50 rupees for single journey from Sahibabad to Duhai. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is planning to launch a monthly pass also for daily traveller so that they can get some discount. The ticket price will almost similar to Delhi Metro.
