Jharkhand first Vande Bharat express train was started on 27 June 2023 between Ranchi Junction and Patna Junction. This was also the first Vande Bharat Express for Bihar. Via a video conference from the Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj) railway station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the commencement of the train. The train is currently operated with train numbers 22349/22350 on 6 days a week basis. The train covers a distance of 380 km in 06 hours with an average speed of 63 km/h.
