Sahibabad Duhai Rapidx(RRTS) Train will be the first Rapidx train in India. This is the first phase of the Delhi Meerut Rapidx train service which is also known as the Regional Rapid Transit System.
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is building India's first Rapidx rail system between Delhi and Meerut. According to senior government officials, Work at all these stations has been completed, and they are ready for operations. The construction work on the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System began in June 2019. The NCRTC, which is building the RRTS corridor, aims to commission the 82 km-long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut stretch for the public by 2025.
