Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat is one of the most awaited Vande Bharat trains in India because its connection will connect the two most visited pilgrim places, Gaya and Varanasi.
The Eastern Railway confirmed that as part of the "Mission Raftaar" initiative, West Bengal would get four Vande Bharat express trains in 2023. After the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off on December 30 last year, West Bengal would be getting more of the Vande Bharat in coming years. Howrah Varanasi Vande Bharat will be the fourth Vande Bharat for West Bengal.
