Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat is one of the most awaited Vande Bharat trains in India because its connection will connect the two most visited pilgrim places, Gaya and Varanasi.
The Eastern Railway confirmed that as part of the “Mission Raftaar” initiative, West Bengal would get four Vande Bharat express trains in 2023. After the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off on December 30 last year, West Bengal would be getting more of the Vande Bharat in coming years. Howrah Varanasi Vande Bharat will be the fourth Vande Bharat for West Bengal.
According to the officials, the feasibility of running a Vande Bharat express train on Varanasi Howrah has been studied, and the trial run will start soon. No super fast train like Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express runs on this route. So after creating the Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat, travellers can easily save their time by 3-4 hours.
Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat Route
According to the sources Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat, the route has been confirmed via Gaya. There are two routes which connect Varanasi and Howrah. The first option is Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat goes via Patna, and the second is via Gaya. The distance from Howrah to Varanasi via Patna is around 760 km, and the space via Gaya is about 680 km.
Howrah Varanasi Vande Bharat route has been decided via Gaya because it is the shortest railway route between Varanasi and Howrah. The railway track is sound, and the train can reach 160 km/h on this route. Patna Howrah Vande Bharat is already going to start, so the railway is planning to run Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat via Gaya. Howrah Varanasi Vande Bharat Route will connect some important stations like Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad and Koderma.
Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat Timetable
After the trial run of Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat timetable will be announced by railway officials. Due to the high number of trains on this route, it’s quite difficult for railway officials to make a perfect timetable. As per the reports, the train will start from Varanasi at 6 am and reach Howrah at 1:30 pm. The same train will leave Howrah junction by 2 pm and reach Varanasi around 9:30 pm. It will take around 7:30 minutes to complete the journey.
Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat Ticket Price
Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat ticket price will be quiet because it will be a long run Vande Bharat Train which will cover a distance of around 700 km. Howrah Varanasi Vande Bharat ticket prices will be around 1685 rupees for a single journey in AC Chair Car class and 3015 rupees for Exec. Chair Car (EC).
Varanasi Howrah Vande Bharat Express Stoppage
The final stoppage list of Howrah Varanashi Vande Bharat Express has not been confirmed till now. The chances are that this train will stop at some major stations like Gaya, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad and Koderma. The final list of stations maybe gets changed. Vande Bharat generally stops at a very limited number of stations on any route.
