Agrasen Ki Baoli is one of the most haunted places in India. Recently, scenes from an eminent movie PK were shot at this place where Aamir Khan was seen roaming in Agrasen Ki Baoli when he was sad. It is a tourist spot during the day but considered to be a haunted place at night. It is said that the place is filled with black water which persuades people to jump and go deep inside it and thus commit suicide.

Thus, the ghost of Major Burton haunts this place and it is accounted that the guards get slapped once in a while. The story about this church is that there were three Portuguese kings who used to fight for the Kingdom of Goa. One day, one of the kings invited the other two to this church, which is now called ‘The Church of Three Kings’, and poisoned them.

When people came to know about this, they came to kill the king. Fearing his life, he prefers committing suicide over being killed brutally by the hand of the people. He poisoned himself as well. And the dead bodies of these three kings were buried in this church only. In spite of being one of the most haunted places in India, it is one of the major tourist spots.

This hotel is considered to be one of the haunted places in Ooty. There are so many spooky stories about this place. And one of the recent ones is that when the film Raaz was being shot here, Saroz Khan, the famous Bollywood choreographer heard the sound of someone arranging the furniture when she was sleeping with her team in the night. Slowly and gradually the sound started getting deepen. They tried to contact the hotel management but the phone line was off. There was no one to help them.

It is said that a spiritualist, Frances Garnett-Orme stayed at the hotel along with her friend and she was found dead in 1911. Many guests even talked about the unusual activities like noises at late night, footsteps echoing in the lobby, and so on.
