Amrit Bharat Express train is a low-priced superfast train which is going to start in India for the first time. The manufucturing cost of the Amrit Bharat train is comparatively very low as compared to other superfast trains in India. Amrit Bharat Express will have only class, non AC sleeper and Unreserved Class. Amrit Bharat Express is manufactured by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works which is located in Asansol in West Bengal.

The first Amrit Bharat Express route will cover a distance of 1176 km between Darbhanga and New Delhi. The First Amrit Bharat Express route will connect three Indian states Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. The Indian railway has planned to start the first Amrit Bharat Express between Darbhanga and New Delhi because the number of passengers on this route is very high and their paying capacity is comparatively low.

Amrit Bharat Express can run at a top speed of 160 km/h, but due to poor rail track conditions train will run at the maximum speed of 110–130 km/h.

The ticket price for first Amrit Bharat Express between Darbhanga and New Delhi will be 580 Rupees in Non AC sleeper class and 300 Rupees in the Unreserved Class. The train will have 22 coaches and it can carry around 1800 people at the same time.
