Gujarat Third Vande Bharat Will Connect These Cities

Gujarat is one of the most developed states in India. To increase rail connectivity with other states Indian railway is planning to launch Gujarat third Vande Bharat train between Ahmedabad and Jaipur.

On September 30, 2022, Gujarat’s inaugural Vande Bharat Express commenced its service, connecting Gandhinagar Capital to Mumbai Central. This marked Maharashtra’s first Vande Bharat Express as well. Operating six days a week, the train is identified by the numbers 20901/20902. Covering a distance of 522 km in a duration of 6 hours and 15 minutes, the train achieves an average speed of 82 km/h. This Vande Bharat Train makes scheduled stops at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Junction, and Ahmedabad Junction along its route between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital.

Gujarat second Vande Bharat Express train was started on 07 July 2023 between Jodhpur and Sabarmati in Ahmedabad. This Vande Bharat Express train has three stoppages at Palanpur Junction, Mahesana Junction and Sabarmati in Gujarat and four stoppages at Jodhpur, Pali Marwar, Falna and Abu Road in Rajasthan. Gujarat’s second Vande Bharat Express, with train numbers 12461/12462, is set to run six days a week. It will traverse a distance of 449 km (279 miles) within a travel time of 6 hours and 10 minutes, maintaining an average speed of 73 km/h.

Gujarat Third Vande Bharat express train route will cover a distance of 626 km between Jaipur and Ahmedabad. This railway route holds significant importance within the Indian railway network as it serves as a crucial link connecting the national capital, New Delhi, with the vibrant and bustling metropolis of Mumbai, often referred to as the “city of dreams.” This route’s strategic connectivity contributes to enhancing the accessibility and efficiency of travel between these two prominent cities.

Gujarat Third Vande Bharat train will serve as a convenient mode of transportation for people from the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat, facilitating swift access to the renowned hill station, Mount Abu. While the exact list of stoppages for this Vande Bharat Express is yet to be officially confirmed by Indian Railways, preliminary information from reliable sources suggests that the train is expected to halt at stations such as Ajmer Junction, Falna, Abu Road, Pakanpur Junction, and Mahesana Junction along its route between Ahmedabad and Jaipur.

When Will Gujarat Third Vande Bharat Express Train Start?

According to the sources, Gujarat third Vande Bharat Express Train will start in the second week of November 2023. This Vande Bharat train will reduce the travel time between Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Currently, the fastest train between Jaipur and Ahmedabad is Rajdhani Express which takes 8 hours and 40 minutes to complete a single journey.
