Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Will Run Via Gaya

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express train will be the first Vande Bharat Train, which will connect three Indian states: Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The distance between Tatanagar and Varanasi is just 577 km, but due to limited connectivity, the travel time by train is very high. Currently, there is only one train between Tatanagar and Varanasi, which run three days in week. The Neelachal Express is the only train to connect Varanasi and Tatanagar, which takes around 12 hours to complete a journey of 577 km. Tatanagar received its first Vande Bharat Express last month on 27 September 2023, while Varanasi received its first Vande Bharat Express around four years ago on 15 February 2019. Tatanagar’s first Vande Bharat Express connects Howrah and Ranchi. Varanasi’s first Vande Bharat Express connects Varanasi and New Delhi.

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express Route

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express route will cover a distance of 577 km via Gaya. This Vande Bharat train route will run on Howrah Delhi railway route. The Vande Bharat train will run up to 130 km/h on this route between Gaya and Varanasi. Apart from Tatanagar and Varanasi, Gaya Junction Railway station is the most important station on this route.

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express Stop

According to the sources, the Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express will stop at Tatanagar Junction, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Parasnath, Koderma Junction, Gaya Junction, Sasaram, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction and Varanasi. Two stoppages of this Vande Bharat Train, Gaya and Parasnath, are popular tourist places between Varanasi and Tatanagar.

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express Timetable

The Varanasi to Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to depart from Varanasi at 6 am, arriving in Tatanagar at 1 pm. After a stop of 1 hour and 30 minutes in Tatanagar, the train will resume its journey. The return journey, Tatanagar to Varanasi Vande Bharat Express, will depart from Tatanagar at 2:30 pm and is expected to reach Varanasi at 9:30 pm. This journey will take a total of 7 hours to complete between Tatanagar and Varanasi.

Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price

The Tatanagar to Varanasi Vande Bharat Express train offers different fare options:

  1. For a single journey in the AC Chair Car class, the ticket will cost approximately 1315 rupees.
  2. If you prefer the Executive Chair Car (EC) class, the ticket price for a single journey will be around 2275 rupees.

It’s worth noting that the ticket price for both classes includes catering charges, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience.

When Will Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express Start?

As per what the news is saying, a new train called the Tatanagar Varanasi Vande Bharat Express is going to begin running in late December 2023. This train will be a smaller version of the regular Vande Bharat Express and will have 8 cars. Out of these, 7 cars will be for AC chair seating, and 1 car will be for Executive Chair seating.
