CLAT 2026 Exam Eligibility
The candidates willing to sit in the CLAT examination 2026 must meet the eligibility criteria set by the consortiums of NLUs. Even if they pass the exam, applicants who cannot enroll in integrated LLB programs provided by NLUs will not be considered for admission. And therefore, it becomes very crucial for the students or candidates to check whether they meet the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
The eligibility criteria are as follows-
● Candidates for UG-CLAT 2026 must have completed Class 12 or a comparable exam with at least 45% overall ( in the case of SC and ST candidates, the roof limit is 40%) marks.
● Even if the candidate is currently enrolled in Class 12 or an equivalent course and is scheduled to take the board exam in May or April of that year, they are eligible to take the CLAT in 2026. The eligibility requirements, including the minimum grade in Class 12, must once more be met for admission.
