The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially published the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Seat Matrix 2026 for the first round of online counselling. According to the seat matrix, a total of 895 seats are available for admission under the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme for the 2026 academic session. Only one government institution is offering Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing admissions this year is Government B.Sc. Nursing College, Deewan Bagh, Srinagar which has 40 Seats. Out of these, 38 seats are reserved for candidates from Jammu & Kashmir, while 2 seats are reserved for candidates from the Union Territory of Ladakh. Various reservation categories including EWS, SC, ST, OBC, RBA, ALC/IB and others have also been included in the government seat distribution.
