Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Route, Timing and Ticket Price

Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express will connect Delhi and Nanital, the famous hill stations in Uttrakhand.

Last week Indian Priminister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Uttrakhand Vande Bharat Express between Anand Vihar and Dehradun. The Vande Bharat Express between Kathgodam and Anand Vihar in Delhi will be Uttrakhand’s second Vande Bharat Express. Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat is also known as Anand Vihar Kathgodam Vande Bharat because it will start from Anand Vihar station in Delhi.

Currently, the fasted train between Delhi and Kathgodam is Shatabadi Express which leaves New Delhi Station at 6:20 am and reaches Kathgodam at 11:55 am. This train takes 5 hours and 35 minutes to complete the signal journey between Delhi and Kathgodam. The Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat will take only 4 hours to travel between Delhi and Kathgodam and will reduce the travel time by 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express Route

Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express route will be one of the shortest routes of Vande Bharat Express because the distance between Anand Vihar and Kathgodam is only 265 km. Currently, the shortest Vande Bharat Express route is the Anand Vihar Dehradun Vande Bharat Express which covers a distance of 304 km in 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express Stop

According to the media reports, the Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express will stop at Moradabad Junction, Rampur Junction, Rudrapur City, Lal Kuan Junction and Haldwani between Anand Vihar and Kathgodam. During the travelling of 265 km, Kathgodam Delhi Vande Bharat Express will stop at five stations excluding the source and final destination station.

According to the sources, Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express will start from Kathgodam at 8:30 am and reach Anand Vihar in Delhi at 12:30 pm. The same train will leave from Anand Vihar at 3 pm and get to Kathgodam at 7 pm.

Delhi Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price

The ticket price for Delhi – Kathgodam Vande Bharat Express is expected to be around 875 rupees for a single journey in AC Chair Car class and 1765 rupees for Exec. Chair Car (EC). The final ticket price may be increased based on the seat occupancy rate. If you want to book a ticket for less, do not book a ticket with food. Booking a seat without food will help you to reduce the catering costs.
