New Delhi and Lucknow are also connected with some super fast trains like Tejas Express, Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express. Currently, the fasted train between Delhi and Lucknow is Tejas Express which takes 6 hours and 25 min to complete a journey between Delhi to Lucknow.
Tejas Express is the most premium and expensive train between Delhi and Lucknow. Delhi Lucknow Tejas Express ticket price is 1809 rupees for a single journey in AC Chair Car class and 2457 rupees for Exec. Chair Car (EC), which is quite expensive than Vande Bharat Express.
Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Route
Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express route will cover a distance of 495 km between Delhi to Lucknow. The train will start from Anand Vihar station, which will reduce the distance by 10 km and it will help to save around 30 minutes time. New Delhi railway station is the busiest station in Delhi, so Indian Railway has planned to start Vande Bharat Express to Lucknow from Anand Vihar railway station.

Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will stop at Aligarh Junction, Tundla Junction, Etawah Junction, and Kanpur Central between Delhi and Lucknow. Apart from Kanpur Central, all station will get their first Vande Bharat Express. Currently, Delhi Varanasi Vande Bharat Express pass from these stations, but it does not have stoppages.
Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Timetable
Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will start from Anand Vihar in Delhi at 7:30 am and will reach Lucknow at 1:30 pm. The same train will leave Lucknow at 2:30 pm and will reach Delhi at 8:30 pm. Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will take 6 hours to complete its journey between Delhi and Lucknow. This train will be 30 to 40 minutes faster than Shatabadi Express and Tejas Express.
Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price
According to the sources, the Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat express train will cost around 1205 rupees for a single journey in AC Chair Car class and 2195 rupees for Exec. Chair Car (EC). The ticket price includes the catering charges. The ticket price of Lucknow Delhi Vande Bharat Express will be cheaper than Tejas Express and Shatabadi Express.
When Will Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express Start?
According to the sources Delhi Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will start from 10 August. The trial run for the Vande Bharat Express train will start soon between Delhi to Lucknow, and then PM Modi to flag off Lucknow Delhi Vande Bharat Express. Delhi to Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will connect Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow and India capital New Delhi.
