DRISTI Volunteers Spread Light at Maher Ashram with “दीपांजली – अपनों संग दीपोत्सव”

Ranchi — This Diwali, DRISTI Volunteers brought joy and radiance to Maher Ashram, Ranchi through “दीपांजली – अपनों संग दीपोत्सव”, a celebration of light, compassion, and togetherness.

Under the guidance and vision of Co-Founder Shubhanshu Shekhar Shukla and with the leadership of Chapter Lead Aditya Sunar, the event embodied DRISTI’s core spirit of learning, strength, and empathy, inspired by its foundational pillars DAKSHA and DAMINI. Dedicated volunteers — Shreya Jaiswal, Tanu Kumari, Piyush Srivastava, Yashika Aggarwal, Anurag Mishra, and many others worked tirelessly to make the celebration vibrant and memorable.

Children at the ashram crafted colorful greeting cards and exchanged them in a cheerful “Diwali Friend” activity, spreading friendship and smiles. The occasion also marked Maher Foundation Day, featuring fun games, rangoli making, and diya lighting filling the space with color, laughter, and love.

Adding to the festive spirit, the volunteers created moments of genuine connection and joy. The ashram glowed not just with lamps, but with warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging that defined the evening. More than a festival, ‘दीपांजली’ became a symbol of hope and humanity — proving once again that when hearts unite, every light shines brighter.
